The end result of digital imaging is a picture, document or image that is on computer in digital format.  Digital imaging includes scanning and digital photography. Scanning can include Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for archiving documents in a secure and portable format. Scanning of photos to be put on CDROM and even for restoration & reprinting.  Photos can also be enlarged to almost any imaginable size, color or black & white.
